The Earth Without Cloud card provides the vibration for harmony, in healing of body, space, projects and events. With the embedded Wuxing (Chinese: 五行; pinyin: wǔxíng), usually translated as Five Phases, is a fivefold conceptual scheme that many traditional Chinese fields used to explain a wide array of phenomena, from cosmic cycles to the interaction between internal organs, and from the succession of political regimes to the properties of medicinal drugs. The “Five Phases” are Fire (火 huǒ), Water (水 shuǐ), Wood (木 mù), Metal or Gold (金 jīn), and Earth or Soil (土 tǔ). This order of presentation is known as the “Days of the Week” sequence. In the order of “mutual generation” (相生 xiāngshēng), they are Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. In the order of “mutual overcoming” (相克 xiāngkè), they are Wood, Earth, Water, Fire, and Metal.

The five sounds are Shang, Jiao, Yu, Zheng and Gong. The Shang belongs to gold, which is connected to the lungs and large intestine, and its nature is pure. Yu belongs to water, communicates with kidneys and bladder, and its sex is unrestrained and smooth. The kidney stores the aspirations, governs the growth and development, and fears the aspirations. It has the characteristics of openness, unrestrainedness, and sadness. Its voice is extremely short, extremely clear, and has the effects of nourishing the kidneys and essence, strengthening the bones and regenerating the marrow, which makes people healthy. The Zheng is fire, which is connected to the heart and small intestine, and its sexuality develops. The heart hides the gods, the main gods, the joy in the will, has the characteristics of strong, excited, lively and so on. It has the function of promoting the body’s metabolism, and is effective for heart disease, high blood pressure, arrhythmia, mental illness, and neurasthenia.
The Gong belongs to the soil, communicates with the spleen and stomach, and its sex is neutral. The meaning of the spleen is to be thoughtful, and has the characteristics of calm, elegant, solemn and other emotional aspects. Its voice is very loud and extremely turbid, and it also supplements the spleen and stomach, and is uncomfortable for the spleen and stomach, acute and chronic gastric diseases, acute and chronic enteritis, constipation, anemia, and dizziness are effective.
